About Fellowship Gaming

Meet Steve Jackson, Game Master

I have been playing and gamemastering Tabletop Roleplaying Games (TTRPGs) since 1980, over 45 years now and I still love it. I love Dungeons and Dragons (any edition), Pathfinder 2e, Starfinder 2e, Savage Worlds Rifts, Savage Deadlands, and Star Wars RPGs, Shadowdark RPG and Delta Green RPG.

The first time I played was the weekend after my 13th birthday so many years ago. I played Keep on the Borderlands with the Dungeons and Dragons Basic Set. From that moment on I was hooked....and I've been in love with TTRPGs ever since!!! It wasn't long after that in which I also started Gamemastering (running the games) for groups.

This is an image of Steve Jackson wearing a fez and cape while being a dungeon master for a role playing game.

Stories from the Table

“Roll for Reputation.” Spoiler: We scored a natural 20.

“I’ve played D&D for years, but nothing prepared me for the sheer brilliance of Stevie J's Ravenloft campaign during our Friends' Cabin Retreat. From the moment we stepped into Barovia, the atmosphere was thick with dread—and excitement as was his Dracula accent. Every fog-shrouded path, every cryptic NPC, every cursed artifact felt like it had a story waiting to be uncovered."

“The first time my wife and I have ever played D&D or any true tabletop game was with Steven Jackson. It is thanks to Steve and the excitement, passion, life, and comedy he brought as a GameMaster; that Michelle and I are hooked for life as tabletop gamers. I highly recommend Steve for anybody’s gaming experience.”

-Javier and Michelle Palacios (Business Owners J&Mzonestopshop)

“Over the past six years, I've had the privilege of participating in five "high-roller campaigns" with Steven Jackson, and each experience has been absolutely exceptional. Steven's mastery as a game master shines through in every aspect of his craft, from our level 4 adventures all the way up to epic 20th-level dungeons and dragon's campaigns."

-Adam Gierke

"I’ve known Steve for over a decade and gamed with him off and on that entire time.  As a GM he loves to get your blood pumping. The Action Jackson nickname isn’t just a movie reference or a fun rhyme. Not that combat isn’t his only skill, I’ve enjoyed many investigations and taken pages of notes trying to figure out a mystery in his games. Give him your time and he’ll give you a fun story you can retell for years.”
